The ‘Hub’ (STEAM Center) | Shady Hill School
The renovation of a student cafeteria originally designed by Eck MacNeely in the 1990s. Centered around an inviting fireplace, dining guests catch a glimpse of the goings on within the campus radio station as they enter their gracious new Dining Hall.
Woods Hole, Massachusetts.
This new dormitory for the Walnut Hill School School For The Arts houses 42 students and seven faculty residences. The three-story wood-frame structure accommodates 12-14 students on each floor with a dorm parent suite at the end of each hall. The building was carefully sited to work with the existing pathways on the campus and to create an organic commons between the other student and faculty residences. A pathway runs directly through the building to separate those functions and to maintain a connection to the main campus and views looking west.
